| | Deep red and concentrated. This wine was a lot better than I thought a $14 bottle would be, and a lot less in your face than I assumed. It was purchased to compare to a French Syrah (the Terroir de Champal St-Joseph) and it held it’s own. More firm and more fruit to be sure, but not so much that it ruined the overall experience. People liked this a lot, and I wonder had I decanted it if it would have been more open. Reviewed 1 year ago |
