Miquel Canals Ollé was the founder of the wines or cavas which today bear the name of CANALS CANALS. From its very origins, the Canals Canals family has been linked to the cultivation of vineyards and the production of wine. The family house and our wine cellars in Castellví de Rosanes, a small village in the wine-growing region of the Penedès denomination of origin region, date back to our beginnings in 1903.
This land was where fruit was harvested and later prepared, transforming it into the wine which was sold at the family home. In 1975, Miquel Canals Ollé and his son Ramon Canals Llaverol, an oenologist by profession, pooled their resources and decided to produce their first bottles of cava.
