We enjoyed this wine with grilled organic Rock Cornish Game Hens (from Whole Foods) lightly seasoned with pepper, herbs and garlic; a stuffing/dressing made with Apalachicola oysters, sweet Spanish onions, celery, corn bread, toasted sour-dough bread, a bit of maple sausage and herbs de Provence; and with sides of fresh from my garden greens - kohlrabi sauteed in olive oil and garlic, and Swiss Chard also sauteed with olive oil, but with more of those sweet onions. Initially I was concerned that I had too many flavors going on at our table to really appreciate this relatively young wine, but it stood up proud (once it had a chance to breath) and actually enhanced the enjoyment of our meal. It didn't have too much tannin, its fruit flavors came through, and it had a surprisingly light alcohol finish. We even enjoyed pairing this wine with our cheese course, and then some dark chocolates for dessert. I highly recommend it to anybody who likes Syrah and wants to try something from Spain. I purchased this wine after tasting it at Petty's Meat Market - a relatively 'high-end' delicatessen chain in central Florida, paid about $50.00, and had planned to pair it with either Duck or Roast Pork, but I think it was perfect with the Grilled Hens. This wine was excellent value for my money. I'll buy another bottle the next time I'm in Longwood.

Se trata de un syrah elegante, sabroso y pleno. En copa presenta color picota de capa alta con ribete granate con notas violáceas. Muestra densidad.
En nariz es intenso, profundo. Al principio se muestra algo cerrado y nos pide tiempo, si se lo concedemos nos ofrece lácteos, compota, moras, notas vegetales, vainilla, nata y cremosidad. Además posee claras notas a mermelada de mora.
En boca los taninos están maduros, pulidos, es largo, llena la boca, de nuevo compota, moras, cremosidad. Es sabroso, el alcohol está integrado, aparece cacao ligero y cerezas maduras. Es una boca llena de moras, frambuesas, compotas, lacteos e intensidad.
