Consumer Reviews - Veramonte Sauvignon Blanc Reserva 2007

Tom Burnakis  Vinostar - from 151 reviews    Jacksonville  (United States)
*** Good
Crisp and Chile
Good clarity with light straw color. The nose is full of crisp notes of citrus, floral accents and herb. The tastes are a very zesty mix of mineral, melon, citrus, and herbs. It ends with lingering finish complemented by lively acidity. Delightful with some mussels and shrimp during an evening out. The price shown is the store price, not the restaurant price ($27 the robbers!).

Chile’s Casablanca Valley is the premier place in the Southern Hemisphere to grow Sauvignon Blanc that ripens to perfection with rich fruit flavors complemented by lively acidity. Veramonte’s Sauvignon Blanc grapes are grown in the estate vineyards with well-drained, sandy decomposed granite and alluvial soils. Warm days and cool nights are the signature conditions of the dry growing season at Veramonte.Appearance Good clarity with light straw color. Aroma: Fresh stone fruit, citrus, and herbs mingle with floral accents. Flavor: Zesty, medium body with flavors citrus, melon and herb flavors that linger on the palate.
