This wine is produced from traditional white wine varieties - Viosinho, Gouveio and Rabigato. This white is highly aromatic and complex and presents an excellent crunchy acidity. It shows a respectful equilibrium between the new French oak barrel toast where it partially fermented and aged for 8 months, a good integration of the primary and tropical aromas, and a good and delicate structure with a persistent finish.
Francisco Montenegro: "A light citrus yellow and green colour. The nose shows a fine balance between ripe, tropical fruit and a light touch of toasted wood. A fine and delicate aroma shows notes of pepper, wild flowers, with a hint of mineral also showing through. The full palate is supported by a well balanced acidity, with citric and floral flavours giving way to a light touch of toasty oak in the long finish."
