The Mojo showcases a beautiful ruby-red in the glass. Red berries weave through a lace of mild spices with a rather funky damp blanket on the top coming through on the nose. The palate is refreshing yet has some oomph, with flavours more leaning towards the darker berries, the tannins are there but not overly so however the acidity in the finish is a bit nail biting and is definitely complimented with food. Matches would include grilled lamb chops with an olive oil barbeque rub and light game with some candied plums.
