The Fuligni estate has 25 acres under vine divided among older vines at around 1,200 feet on galestro marls on which the Brunello grapes are planted. Severe pruning and green harvesting are employed to reduce yields and improve quality. The 2001 Brunello was aged for 3 years in a combination of Slovenian and French oak barrels of varying sizes. A firm structured, tightly wound and very promising Brunello.
