About the winery
When we talk about Mas Comtal we talk about the result of an ACCURATE, MODERN and PIONEERING viticulture and a VANGUARDIST and INNOVATIVE task in the cellar.
The result is a project that was initiated at the beginning of the 80s by the brothers Albert and Joan Milà, with the aim of producing QUALITY WINES in the same rural house where they both were born and raised.
Albert is the one in charge of the cellar and vineyard management. Joan, who is considered one of the most hyperactive consultants of the national wine sphere, is in charge of the transformation from must to wine. For that reason, when we talk about their wines we can talk about Author Wines.
After more than a decade of effort and continuous improvements, we would like to think that we have gained the trust of all you, great wine connaisseurs.
Datos técnicos
Una vez la uva es desgranada, esta se macera unas 12 horas para conseguir este color rosado que lo hace tan particular. Después fermenta durante 15 días a una temperatura de 14 15ºC. Este proceso nos permite extraer de la uva todo un abanico de aromas que recuerdan a las pequeñas frutas rojas, así como algún que otro toque floral.
Sobre la bodega
Cuando hablamos de Mas Comtal hablamos del resultado de una ESMERADA, MODERNA y PIONERA a la vez que RESPETUOSA viticultura y de un hacer avanguardista e innovador a la bodega.
Es el resultado de un proyecto que inician a principios de los 80 dos hermanos, Albert y Joan Milà, con la eleboración de VINOS DE CALIDAD en la masía donde ambos nacieron y vivieron su infancia y juventud con el resto de su familia.
Albert como responsable de la gestión de la bodega y del cultivo de las viñas. Joan , considerado uno de los más hiperactivos consultores del panorama nacional vinícola , conduce la parte de transformación del mosto a vino. Por esta razón, cuando hablamos de los vinos que producen hablamos de Vinos de Autor.
Después de un poco más de una década de esfuerzos para hacerlo cada día mejor, pensamos y deseamos haber ganado vuestra confianza, grandes enófilos.
