About the winery

The Torres family surname features in Catalan history since the 17th century. Today our family owned vineyards amount to 1,300 hectares, among the best terroir in the region.

The use of modern viticultural techniques, the preservation of traditional methods and a desire not to use chemical products have contributed to the success of Torres.

Professionals’ opinions
Deep red cherry colour. On the nose it reveals notes of black ripened fruits and spicy aromas (cocoa and nutmeg) from the wood. Silky entrance in the mouth with pleasant tannins. Long and spicy aftertaste.

Catalunya to Rioja
The Trorres family decides to venture off into deep Rioja country with this particular wine. Known for their wines in Catalonia, they have successfully created a very solid Rioja wine. On the nose its bright berry notes come through with a slight hint of oak in the background. On the palate the lively wild berry fruits come through - easy to drink.
