About the winery

San Francesco estate’s wines San Francesco estate is located in Scazzolino of Rovescala, in the hearth of the lands of the so called Oltrepò Pavese. Annibale Alziati started with the winemaking activity as an adult, driven by a strong desire to feel again what he experienced as a child during the frequent journeys around Italy, when he was accompanying his father in search of suitable wines for sale. The scents and aromas, the taste of wines and the flavor of the rural world, became his true passion to which he is deeply committed.

L’Azienda Agricola Tenuta San Francesco è situata a Scazzolino di Rovescala, nel cuore dell’Oltrepò Pavese.Annibale Alziati, il proprietario, inizia la sua attività di vignaiolo spinto dal desiderio di ritrovare le emozioni vissute da bambino quando col padre percorreva l’Italia alla ricerca di vini da distribuire. Il fascino dei profumi e del gusto del vino e di quel mondo rurale diventano una passione autentica che l’uomo adulto e realizzato finalmente può coltivare.
