Dark and fruity on the nose and tongue. Lots of spice and minerals, with smooth tannins turning a little drying at the finish. Plum, blackberry and flint come to mind in this almost royal purple wine. It was good, but the Château Pesquie Terrasses is almost as good at half the price. I wouldn’t pass it up if offered, but I wouldn’t go out looking for it either.
