About the winery

Although at the outset the company was one man's brainchild, it is in fact a collective endeavour. Vignobles André Lurton is run by a young, dynamic team of highly-skilled managers. Each and every one is attentive, rational, discreet and modest (a sterling quality in an ego-driven environment!). Understandably, André Lurton favours them with his total confidence.

**** Very good
A bearded delight
A vibrant deep red color and a full, fruit and mineral delight. Loads of dark fruit, mineral, chocolate and a little graphite with some structured tannins. Long finish and clean. Yes I know it is WAY too early to open this up, but my wife really wanted to try it. This ought to be superb as it ages, because it got progressively better as the evening wore on (not that it lasted too terribly long though – far too good to wait). Mainly Merlot (65%) with Cabernet Franc (25%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). I have said I don’t like Bordeaux wines, again I prove myself wrong, I just didn’t have one I liked.
