An oustanding little estate that really deserves the awards it is gaining!
This 2000 Graves, the Château Lusseau would still probably need some time to ease its strength. Intense dark crimson colour in its core with slightly clearer rims.
Its nose will display concentrated ripe dark berries along with a nice and well integrated oak, though it may appear quite shy at first.
On the palate, nice fresh tannins enhancing ripe dark berries and somehow of zan. #verygoodpriceratio #rusticity #lucious #redgraves #tannic #oldschool
Tasting date : 12 Jul 2008
Maturity : Wait for 2-3 years
Meaning on the maturity : This "old school beauty" is still strong enough to match a big juicy sirloin or even a lucious foie gras, yet do not be afraid of decanting it, as it will then calm down and express itself fully.
