Our family spent the first week of August 2009 in the beautifully furnished "I Tre Porcelli" apartment at Casale Loggia Sul Nera in the friendly town of Arrone, Umbria.

We were very pleased with the large space provided for us, and also the cleanliness and quietness of the place. It was cool and breezy in the apartment due to tall windows which displayed an amazing view, of the town and mountains beyond.

We strongly recommend anyone searching for a charming, incredible and authentic visit to Italy, a stay at Loggia Sul Nera. You will feel like you are staying in a castle; it is beautiful and antique except for the modern amenities required (kitchen and bathroom/laundry facilities all updated); it is also very secure with a private indoor entrance. We enjoyed exploring the ancient walls and casale streets as well. Not too far to Rome, Assisi, Terni, Spoleto.

Sr. Guiseppe Magroni and staff are consummate hosts, providing information about local shopping and tourist activities. (shirley)
