Superbe vacance

C'est un superbe gîte très bien équipée, d'un confort et d'une propreté excellente, idéal pour les vacanciers avec un chien. Maureen et Jon, les propriétaires sont d'une attention, d'une politesse qui font d'eux des personnes d'exception. A noter à notre arrivée, un petit mot d'accueil et un petit présent. Un logement à recommander à ceux qui veulent se sentir encore mieux que chez eux et surout des vacances reposantes. Merci au destin de nous avoir mis sur le chemin de Maureen et Jon. (roy)

Superbe

Simplement, magnifique. Les Vendangeurs est de ces emplacements qui recomendarias sans douter de lui à tes meilleurs amis ou à tes parents plus chers. Le jardin est superbe, relajante, énorme. La maison est équipée jusqu'au dernier détail pour garantir un confortable séjour et tout de qualité supérieure. Et ses propriétaires, Jon et Maureen sont très gentils et ils te comblent d'attentions mais jamais sont pesés. Cet été nous sommes passés des jours inoubliables dans tous les sens. Nous oublierons difficilement notre séjour là. (marisa)

Awesome experience!

The Vendangeurs gite (cottage) was really great! It met all our expectations - it was big, bright, and very clean with a beautiful, fully-equipped kitchen. We took our 3 year old German Shepherd with us and she had a blast in their enormous backyard along with both my boys!!! There was NO sound of any traffic even though this is conveniently close to the road and the best landmark for the cottage was an old picturesque church. Their property sits right behind it. Their gite is in a quite village not too far from St. Emillion and other well-known wineries. Jon & Maureen were extremely helpful and hospitable - much more than I could have imagined. On the first night itself when they saw us eating dinner without any wine, Jon immediately went home and got a very nice one for us. I would definitely have paid more for their place after my experience. (ankur & shubhra)

My home in France

We have stayed in Maureen & Jon's gite for a week in May 07 & 08. The gite is lovely and fully equipped the location brilliant. Nestled in the vineyards of Bordeaux, located next to a church in a small village, across the road from a wonderful vintner, and just down the road from a small cafe that we visited every morning to pick up a fresh baguette, have a cup of coffee and mingle with the locals. Close to St.Emilion, this gite is a perfect base for exploring the Bordeaux regions of Entre-Deux-Mers and St. Emilion. Maureen & Jon seem to be always available to help and answer any questions about the area and France in general. Their gardens are lovely and if you have the chance to taste Maureen's cooking, you must!

Just back from our second week's stay, we are trying to plan a month's stay for next year! (paddy from dublin)

Superb Gite in Bordeaux Region

As this is the second visit I've made to this wonderful gite in the countryside of France it certainly holds a special place in my heart. Jon and Maureen have created a place to use as your own but also including so many special touches and expressions of friendship. The place is always clean with fresh flowers from the garden (replaced when they start to wilt) and fresh towels during the week. While giving you the all the privacy you want, they are also willing to help you make the most of your visit in the region with a wealth of knowledge of places to eat, chateaus of distinction and suggestions for whatever your requested areas of interest. The hospitality of Maureen and Jon are something to experience and I hope to have many future stays in their wonderful gite. (jan blair)

A Fabulous Place To Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Jon & Maureen and would recommend it to anyone. The gite is very well equipped & beautifully restored. Our toddler enjoyed exploring the surrounding gardens and nothing was too much trouble for our fantastic hosts. Maureen's food is memorable and the village is a great base to explore the region. Estupenda casa y estupendos anfitriones

Hemos pasado la Semana Santa 2009 en esta casa que está fenomenal, muy bien equipada, con un jardín y un porche magníficos.

Jon y Maureen son todo amabilidad y detalles con sus huéspedes.

La ubicación es apropiada para conocer esta zona vinícola y sus "chateaux".

A pesar del tiempo muy lluvioso que nos ha tocado nos hemos llevado un buen recuerdo, qué hubiera sido con buen tiempo... (isidro)

Casa Rural de encanto - Gîte de Charme

Casa rural de encanto, en un pueblo pequeño de la zona llamada Entre-deux-Mers y con unos propietarios encantadores y discretos al mismo tiempo. Nos han hecho pasar unas vacaciones inolvidables.

Pareja encantadora y preciosa casa.

Es una casa rural 100% recomendable. Lo tiene todo para disfrutar de ella plenamente. Los proprietarios son encantadores con miles de detalles para hacer la estancia inolvidable. Hay infinidad de pueblos turisticos para visitar y recomiendo muy especialmente Saint-Emilion. Es una zona que enamora y que te obliga a volver otra vez. (ana ruiz)

Este Puente de la Inmaculada nos decidimos a visitar estas tierras y encontramos esta casa. Un pueblecito tranquilo pero situado en la zona vinícola y cercano a lugares maravillosos. la casa limpia, bonita y amplia, pero lo mejor es la amabilidad de Jon y Maureen. Para Repetir. (fran)

Una casa hermosa, decorada con muy buen gusto, grande, confortable, tranquila, muy bien equipada, un lugar ideal para pasar unas vacaciones en familia y descubrir la region; Maureen y John son muy amables y atentos, siempre a la orden y pendientes de ayudarte en todo lo que sea necesario. COMO EN CASA

Una semana inolvidable. Maureen y Jon nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Las instalaciones, su maravilloso jardín y, sobre todo, las constantes atenciones de sus dueños, además del paisaje de la zona, han hecho que estas vacaciones sean difíciles de olvidar.
