Presentation by the owner: The Château de Rodié is a splendid place to relax. What you do NOT get is piped music, mini-bars, unfeasibly long menus and pre-packed smiles. What you will get; spacious rooms, antique furniture, authentic to the region, old stone walls and huge beams, peace and quiet occasionally broken by the squawk or baa of an animal and, for those that want it, the chance to be involved in the daily life of a country house and farm. Those who take meals with us will enjoy the produce of our farm and gardens and local wine and dinners go on until late – very late. You may not have breakfast before eight o’clock (far too uncivilized) but you may have it as late as you like.
