Edoardo Miroglio est issu d'une grande famille du textile en Italie et est un des plus grands investisseurs étrangers en Bulgarie. Il a découvert la région de Elenovo dans la vallée des Thraces et a tout de suite compris l'importance et l'enjeu de la viticulture en Bulgarie. Non sans efforts, il a créé « Edoardo Miroglio winery » en investissant dans une des caves les plus impressionnantes au monde. Sur plus de 200 hectares de superficie, la cave qui vinifie par gravité est en forme de spirale à 3 niveaux sous la terre. De plus, un hôtel de standing situé dans la cave même vous accueillera et votre séjour vous convaincra que les vins Edoardo Miroglio sont exceptionnels.

Le terroir d'Elenovo jouit d'un microclimat plus tempéré qu'au sud de la vallée des Thraces et favorise l'encépagement du Pinot Noir. Leurs vins issus de ce cépage sont, actuellement, les meilleurs de Bulgarie. La pureté aromatique, la grande fraîcheur, la souplesse et les tanins veloutés caractérisent leurs Pinot Noirs.

Leur vin “ Elenovo” en monocépage Merlot, issu des meilleures parcelles, est un des vins les plus élégants de Bulgarie.

Et leur plus grande réussite, est sans nul doute, le Réserve en Pinot Noir. C'est la meilleure sélection en cuve et 24 mois en barrique. Le 2006 a reçu la médaille d'or au « Mondial du Pinot Noir 2009» en Suisse. C'est assurément un des tout grands vins bulgares.

La gamme « EM » présente des vins rouges issus des meilleures cuves, vinifiés en cuve inox de 3,5 tonnes et élevés en barrique de chêne de l'Allier pendant au moins 12 mois. Les blancs de la gamme « EM » sont d'une grande générosité avec beaucoup d'expression exotiques. En rouge comme en blanc, le caractère de leur terroir couplé au savoir-faire de leur consultant Monchierro et leur maître de chais Dessi vous étonneront par la qualité et la fraîcheur de leurs vins.

La gamme intermédiaire «Spiral » et « Saint'Ilia » , dédiée aux assemblages avec des cépages bulgares, est d'une grande finesse et se vend facilement dans les restaurants gastronomiques, même dans des étoilés au guide Michelin.

Leur rapport qualité/prix est un des meilleurs en Bulgarie.

Golden paradise

The wine is with gold colour with mysterious nuance,aroma rind of orange.
