De benaming 'Les Sauvagères' slaat op de marsanne- wingerds die voor deze cuvée dienst doen.
De wingerds staan aangeplant op een bodem uit graniet , dus moeten hun wortels een zware strijd leveren om door deze zeer harde grond te geraken (aldus : 'les sauvagères').

Frisse muscadet : citrus in neus en mond, zesty karakter, zuren in balans en met voldoende vulling. Behoorlijke kwaliteit voor de prijs.

*NOTA* : De laatst geproefde flessen waren kwalitatief iets minder,wat vlakker,dit verschil noodzaakte me mijn quotering bij te sturen.

International Wine Cellar : 'Bright, pale yellow. Lime, peach and melon on the nose, with a subtle undertone of dusty minerals. Firm, focused citrus flavors gain weight with air, picking up bitter pear skin and peach pit flavors with air. Combines good juicy depth with refreshing tanginess, and finishes with noteworthy lift and cut. This would be great with raw shellfish.' Jul 2008
